Welcome. Thank you for your interest in my page. I hope that from this website, you can understand more about my background, my vision as a counselor, and what to expect when working with me.
About Me

Growing up in Taiwan, Canada, and the US, and receiving professional training in both North America and Taiwan, I am a bi-cultural and bilingual mental health counselor fluent in both Mandarin and English.
I studied psychology at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, BC, and obtained my M.A (Master of Arts) and Ed.M (Master in Education) from Columbia University, with a focus in Psychological Counseling. Upon graduation, I have been providing bilingual counseling in a variety of clinical settings including community mental health agencies, hospital inpatient and outpatient clinics, and international schools.
From my own upbringing and personal experiences as an immigrant navigating between two cultures, I am interested in Asian American mental health and cultural adjustment issues in immigrants. I am passionate about using my bi-cultural/bilingual background and professional training to help those going through difficult times, and facilitate personal growth to live more fulfilling and satisfying lives. I am fully licensed as a counseling psychologist in Taiwan (License# 002775), and I am currently registered as a professional clinical counselor associate in California State (#APCC7639)
